In addition to being an ordained Rabbi, Alan is also a licensed architect and Managing Director at Grubb & Ellis, a national real estate service firm. Alan brings a unique combination of meeting the demands of the business world while attending to the needs of the spirit. He is the author of “Five Minutes on Mondays; Finding Unexpected Purpose, Peace and Fulfillment at Work” (due out in April, 2009), and the prayer book, “Ahavat HaShem”.

Cantor Shirona has served as a full-time Cantor at Congregation KTI in Port Chester, NY, and currently leads High Holidays and musical Friday Night services for Congregation Habonim, in Manhattan. She is an accomplished singer and songwriter, and has performed throughout the United States. Her album, “Judaic Love Songs” has been named “one of the year’s best Jewish recordings” by the Jewish Week and has been distributed throughout the world. Shirona and Alan have been married since 2005. Alan has two sons and Shirona has two daughters from their previous marriages. They now live happily in Rye NY.
