Bar/Bat Mitzvahs

The Bar/Bat Mitzvah is a right-of-passage event that marks the beginning of adulthood, as the Jewish Community welcomes the young adult as an equal.

We work very closely with families to develop individualized services – both Morning and Evening (Havdalah) services. Our Evening service has been specially designed to comprise a unique blend of elements, including traditional prayers, reading of the Torah, and concluding with the Havdalah service. This gives families the flexibility needed to transition into the party, immediately following the Service.

Our hands-on approach includes the production of a customized siddur (prayer book), leading the services at a venue of your choice, and tutoring your child to read from the Torah, participate in the prayer services, and prepare a d’var Torah (sermon). We create an inclusive service that incorporates English readings and explanations of the prayers. This results in a Bar and Bat Mitzvah service that is family-oriented, warm, joyous, and spiritual. We provide a Kosher Torah scroll for use during the service.
